D&S promoted the Staples “Gift it For Free” Holiday Sweepstakes by securing placement on the Ellen DeGeneres Show on December 5th. Ellen gave away Staples Gift Cards to her audience members and explained the Staples promotion on air as part of her popular 12 Days of Giveaways segment. The GiftitForFree.com link was placed on the front page of the EllenTV.com Web site for the entire first weekend of December and remained on secondary pages through Christmas.
