Fortunately, along the way I’ve learned to surround myself with people who are cooler, smarter, funnier and significantly more interesting than me.
My first agency job was at a place you’ve never heard of in a town you’ll never visit. My second job was at a place you’ve never heard of in Boston. And since 1996, I’ve been a part of the agency Dave, Joe, Rose, Peter and Bob built.
I’m most proud of the brands we’ve built for little old Beverly Hospital and great big Foster Grant, and that aluminum baton for a local running shoe store. I’ve worked with PETA and E-Z Wider, Nike and a little homeless shelter with a great big heart.
I’ve never been to Paris or the Grand Canyon, though I almost worked in Melbourne. I like Ben Folds
, Eef Barzelay
, and getting up at 5:30 on a Tuesday morning
.
I’m inspired by this
and my co-workers. These guys
and Ed Crayton. Optimism
and flahoolick
and damn, I wish I’d
.
My favorite quote is from some kid in some movie: “Let’s go get the shit kicked out of us by love.”
My son’s a lefty, my daughter’s a maniac and my wife is a saint. And I am very, very lucky.
